House in Private Nature Reserve

At 1700 meters above sea level in the middle of the Central Mountain Range lies the house of the Private Natural Reserve with the most spectacular view of the central mountains of the Colombian Andes.

Originally built in 1930, it was affected by the 1978 earthquake, repairing mainly its roof and the corridors. A second major intervention in 2017 turned it into an architectural jewel with five bedrooms with private bathrooms, large living rooms and corridors overlooking the infinite garden of stars.

The complementary conservation strategy of the Natural Reserve consists of planting 1,300 individuals among large trees, shrubs and plants that classify it as such.

A guadua forest slides along the Quebrada Privada and towards the side of the river. Here a representation of almost 5% of the birdlife of all of Colombia is received, welcomed and fed.
